Jessica Stroner Bokeh

Here is my bokeh shoot! All of them except for the blue one are double negatives. I had to increase the brightness and contrast on the background picture first so the bokeh would not make it too dark. I also brightened my original bokeh pictures so the colors were more vibrant. I really like the whimsical look  of these photos J

For the bokeh shoot, I shot close ups of christmas lights, and put them over different layers of other pictures.  I used a short depth of field and kept in mind the rule of thirds for a better composition.  I also adjusted the brightness and contrast on most of them.

Ian's Staged

This is my staged vinyetes (nooo idea how to spell that). So ya for these, I used the same curves layer so they all had the same edited style. For the first one, I used the quick select tool to get the lil guy in his car, then I duplicated him 4 times. I changed the opacity of each layer to give it a motion effect so you can see the story of his landing. For all of these I used different poin of veiws to show what the characters would see, and what the player would see.

Jlo Studio 3 Projection

For my projection project I choose Bulb pictures and texture pictures to project onto Kelsey. I chose these because I thought they would have the most interesting shape being projected onto her. When I edited my photos I changed the Brightness and Contrast. I also change the vibrancy in some of the photos. Other photos that were too dark I changed the layer level to lighten or screen.

Studio2 Mackenzie Mason Staged Vignettes

For this project I started off by using curves to adjust the brightness and contrast. I then decreased the saturation for most of the pictures and color burned them to add more of a greenish, brownish or redish hue. Then for a finishing touch for like two pictures, I added a vignette.

Bokeh

For the the bokeh project , I really didn't want to shoot just out of focus lights. I decided to shoot out of focus textures. I found areas where I could Backlight plants and other textures. Later i put them together by masking layers. I also increased the contrast to make them more interesting
