Ian's Choice- Dogs

This project was really fun to shoot because my dogs are awesome. in this shoot I tried to show the bond and love between owner and dog, the reason why dogs are a man's best friend. I used the rule of thirds on my dogs to give them more depth. Also I used the curves layer and adjusted the brightness and contrast to make the colors more vibrant. My editing helped out the composition of each photograph.

Ian's Choice- the chi

For this project I used some of the pictures I took on the Chicago Field Trip. I used the effect of gritty overprocesed. While shooting i used either the rule of thirds  or even balance to give the picture a better composition. In this shoot i tried to make the city look dirty. So Basically my Grunge City project was just a step up from this project for making the city look dirty, grungy. Thanks for reading.

For this shoot i used multipule points of view so you either feel like she is powerful, on your level, or smaller. The main edit that I used for this series was the curves layer so that it would put emphasis on the colors to make my model stand out. Also I liked to change her eye color throughout the pictures by using a new layer and I would color overlay different colors over her eyes, like light brown, blue, and green. Lastly for this shoot I made sure to keep in mind the rule of thirds to also show the beauty of the scene.

Mary final

I shot these of my friend who is a ballerina to emphasize the grace and poise found in rough or unusual areas.  I did this to represent the huge contrast between the two.  I kept in mind the rule of thirds in order for a better composition and I changed the brightness/contrast for each of them as well.

Tie Dye: Those who bought T-shirts go 1st

• Figure out what design. You can look online.
• Spray T-shirt with water
• Rubberband it
• Tie Dye
• Wrap with ziplock bag. (6-8 hrs)
• AT HOME: Rinse with warm water until runs clear, wash with nild detergent with HOT water.

Mackenzie Mason Studio2 Final Choice

For this project I started off by using curves to adjust the brightness and contrast. I then added a vignette to each picture, adding a mask to erase/lighten certain areas. Then for a couple of the pictures I color burned to just brighten everything up.
