I used a short depth of field to capture textures of the flowers.and tried to give the pictures a bokeh look but focusing close on the flower. I wanted to make sure the flowers really stood out with brightness and contrast. I also wanted to make sure the pictures followed the rule of thirds. not all of them do but i kinda like them the way they are.
