For my power of place project, I chose to take my pictures in Grand Haven, Michigan. This is where I live for the majority of the summer and pretty much where I grew up. So obviously it means a lot to me for multiple reasons. With these pictures, I just chanegd the curves and the contrast / brightness. For the last picture though i layered the pictures, changed the opacity and put masks on the pictures to help with the blending.
Well, since I already finished this project, I'll just talk about what I did and why:
ReplyDeleteFor the power of place project I chose to shoot in Grand Haven, Michigan on the boardwalk. This place means a lot to me for multiple reasons, and it is also where I live for most of the summer. This place means a lot to me, which is why I did my proejct here.
And that is why I took my pictures where I did.
1) I really like these. I could really tell this is important to you. :)
ReplyDelete2) This reminds me of places I've been that are really special to me.
3) The color makes it look so modern, and their really good quality pictures! The last one is really cool, but I think some of the color in the right side draws your eye to that side and away from the red. Maybe lower opacity? But it looks great overall!!
