" she was beautiful, in the quiet way lonely, unnoticed people are beautiful to those who notice them "
This project was greatly inspired by this site i found while considering this project http://smashinghub.com/showcase-of-inspiration-typography-text-of-modern-art.htm. I've demoed pictures incorporating text before but i didn't want it to be so cliche. so i did it this way to seem a little more abstract in the sense of how all the words mold to fit my skin/face/hands.
You clearly cannot read it straight across but i don't really think its necessary to be straight forward and left to right. it tells more of a story this way and you can make whatever words you want be more significant than others.
( editing this just took tons and tons of warping text. )
Judy Judy Judy, first of all you owe Mrs. G $4 just reminding you... I really like this photo not really because of the story behind it but the editing that it involved. First hand I know that this is a TON of editing and it really turned out nice. My suggestion would be to make a very thin line of type for the hair and continue to duplicate/group to make the hair all text as well.

ReplyDeleteI really really love this photograph. It reminds me that no matter what, every person has a story to tell. And it deserves to be heard. My suggestion would be to use more words that relate to the subject. See if you can show that story that's hidden behind everyone.
Judith-the text warping and opacity changes look great! It is apparent that this took a lot of work. Please elaborate on the quote you chose and why you chose a portrait of you behind the camera.
