My social commentary was about how skateboarders are prevented from skateboarding through police, skatestoppers, and signs. Skaters have been antagonized by law enforcement for quite awhile. It's irritating because there are people doing way worse things out there. Drugs and organized crime run rampent out in the streets and it's bogus that skateboarding gets the bad reputation. For this project I montaged articles to my photos. I made them all black and white to add drama to the photos. I shot some of these photos at different angles to make them more dynamic. The high contrast of the word on the photos ,akes them more interesting.
