Extreme Close Up

I chose jewlery as the subject to my project, because I like the way it looks using macro lenses. The only editing I used was increasing brightness and contrast, in order to give the photos more visual interest. I used natural lighting instead of studio lighting, because I prefer shooting in natural light and I wanted to experiment with the reflections the jewlery cast onto the silk. I used a silk background in order to make the photos look more elegant. I also angled the jewlery and the camera angles in order to get more visual interest.
