Choice : Instruments

For my choice shoot, I shot my two insturments:my piano and guitar. The piano wasn't as interesting to shoot, so I took more pictures of my guitar. I wanted to get really close up images so you can see the strings, and details of the guitar so I used a short depth of field. I also changed them all to black and white and changed the brightness & contrast. Along with using a short depth of field, I also used the rule of thirds in order to get close up but still keep a better composition. I also tried to use
shadows and reflections of my guitar on the wood and on the ground to make the picture more interesting.
