Madeleine Roskuszka: Studio 2- 1st post...

3 reasons why I took this class?
     1. To improve my photo taking skills
     2. To learn more how to display my thoughts through my work
     3. Because I love making sketchbook and non traditional photography displays!

How I will do better in this class than my last?
-I hope to improve and do better in this class by first learning better time management ;). I also want to begin shooting more and more manually. I will also try and learn to portray my ideas better and better through my photographs.

Film in Photo one?
     - Film in photo one is very very important, because without it it is hard for anyone to realize what the true art of photography is. It is also very important because you learn so much more about all of the manual settings. And you also appreciate digital photography much much more

Lastly this is a picture of me and my little brothers a while ago sailing with my grandpa :) Lol

Aryanna's Final Project is...

Bulb Lighting/Light Art and the person I will be studying is Michael Basanko to learn more about it.

Sketchbook Idea Kara Lawrence

My sketchbook idea comes from a lyric from "The Dupage Amiable Society", a just for fun band I was in this summer. "Hung all our memories on a wire, like clothes set out to dry all afternoon". For my sketchbook Im going to use polaroids hung on a wire, and I'm going to shape the wire to say words. For example I might shape it to say "memories". All of my photos I want to edit to look vintage/lomo somewhat. A lot of people are doing polaroids..but yeah so am I :)

Sulma's Final Project Theme is Surrealism

For my final project, I'll be studying Sarolta Ban who takes surreal photography.

So I want to do this photo wreath, it looks like it could be pretty easy to make. I want to do a winter series of this. I think it could be a pretty cool home decoration, I could also do it with different seasons in the year like fall, summer, or spring.

3-2-1

I learned that:
Social Commentary is controversial
Can be about anything
its usually about something important i guess

I am inspired by:
people
people's perception of themselves

Research:
body image

321

3 things i learned:
- People photograph things that are going on today
- show the world
- if its of a person..to feel their emotion through the photo

2 thing im inspired by:
- lifestyle snowboarding shots
- freedom of riding a snowboard

1 thing I will pursue:
- The freedom of being inside the snowboarding area but not able to cross the fence with out police or people hassling us for it.

Ian Non-Traditional Idea

My non-traditional idea is to make a robot out of any random items i find.

This is supporting my consept that there is way to much polution on this earth. There is so much garbage being waisted that i will be able to make a robot about the size of me.

For this, i will need any garbage i find that will help contribute to my robot. Also i will use a lot of hot glue to put it together.

If people could bring in empty milk cartons that would be very appreciated, thanks

Non-traditional / Sketchbook

For both my non-traditional and sketchbook this semester I will be taking an old book and printing pictures, painting, and sketching on it. I will be using all types of materials and mediums in this. I do not have a 'set' theme yet but I am not sure if I will need one. I think this will be very interesting (:

Jessica Stroner 3-2-1 Reflection

3 things you learned
·         In the olden days, photographers did social commentaries on the poor and children
·         Some people think David LaChapelle is too controversial, while others love his work!
·         Charles Dickens did social commentaries on the lower classes but through his writing
2 things are inspired by
·         The Phantom Tollbooth
·          my little sister being lazy and not doing her homework...
1 idea you will research, pursue, and shoot for (describe why you chose this).
·         Teen laziness/reluctance towards learning. There are infinite opportunities to learn new things, but people are always “too busy” watching tv, texting, or social networking (this will not be about technology; those were just examples). YAY LEARNING!!

1-23 Edline Grading

I just uploaded edline with all the posts before this. Some very cute childhood pictures! A lot of you did not share a link on your 1st BlogPost :( Some of you shared a link that had some inappropriate content :/

Many of you had some great ideas for your projects. I think Kara & Allie U both want to comment on technology, but KARA posted first.  Allie: rethink & modify your idea.

Also, I think you should start commenting on each others work or giving ideas/suggestions/sharing links.  I am going to do a comment grade.  It helps build the photo family moral.  I will not set a format, but when I go and check for project submissions/posts, I will see who has been commenting. You should have a presence online. Maybe try commenting a few times a week. Just a thought-some of you are really good at it.

Every time I update edline, I will also post. This way it will be clear what was graded in between.
New Year's Resolution: Get Organized :o)

I am looking forward to this semester!

Nontraditional post Ben Hansberger Studio 2

I will be doing a family tree, picctures of my family hung from an acctual tree.
This is non-traditional because a family tree is usually displayed 2-dementionaly on a wall. My display would be very non-traditional/
I will need a tree, a camera, and printed pictures of my family

Mary Rosenwinkel Social Commentary

3 things I learned: First and foremost, the period of social commentary started in the 1850's.  One thing I learned is that social commentary was once used  as a means of representing social life and economy.  It also expressed the period of inequalities, exploitation, and abuse.

2 things I am inspired by: One thing I am continuously inspired by is the carelessness of our generation relating to enviornmental issues, and the especially the long-term effects if will have on generations to come.

1 idea I will pursue: Urban pollution

social commentary claire t

for my social commentary i'm doing poverty

Studio 4 Megan Jones Feb. 6th Project

Since the weather is so gross, I dib;t really want it to be in my pictures.
I want to do a shaped bokeh project because I want to experiment more with bokeh and I think these can turn out kinda cool. I promise I'll try and not make these look cheesy. If you won't let me do this I have other ideas I wrote down at home.

Examples:

321 Claire Trumpy

3 things you learned

1. I learned that photographers used to take pictures of the less fortunate so the upper class knew about their life.

2. In the 1800s many photographer and writers captured the living conditions of middle class workers.

3. In the 1800s Stephen Crane dressed as a poor man and spent a night in a slum documenting what he found.

2 things you were inspired by
1. I was inspired by many of the photographers in the 1800s, I liked how they were willing to take pictures of some of the poor people to show what life is really like.

2. I was also inspired by many of the sepia and black and white pictures. I like how the photographer made those pictures look more dated.

1 idea you will pursue
1. I would like to edit more of pictures in black and white, as well as sepia. I just love how the contrast looks and it looks so simple.

Studio2 Mackenzie Mason Non-Traditioinal Idea

For my non-traditional idea I want to take a piece of wood (for the base) and make some hills on it to make it have more depth and such. Instead of a grass for the hills I'm going to glue pictures of animals all over it, creating a collage, and then on top of one of the hills (the largest one) there will be a tree made of metal. And perhaps there will be hand-made animals on the hills as well.

Materials Needed:

1.metal

2.wood

3.pictures of animals

4. some kind of foam/structure to make hills

This will convey my concept by showing animals and a tree growing showing life and how it's beautiful yet bare and dying because of humans.

paul giacalone non- traditional post stuido 3

So this is what im plannin on doing exsept a picture of me. Its also not going to be flat like this guy is. mine will have 4 sides to it so it is 3D. Im going to need my picture from 4 different angles, mat board or fome board, and glue.
Hunter 3-2-1 reflection

social comentaries should be controversial, David LaChapelle social comentary is paradoxes, they should raises awareness.

cats

I'm inspired by the amount of effort people put into preventing skateboarding when there areworse things to do.

My idea for this project is double-standards. there are way worse things(drugs, alcohol, gang violence, etc.) that kids could be involved in than skateboarding.

Kayla Bass Social Commentary 3 - 2 - 1 Studio 1

Things Learned:
1. David LaChapelle had a book of photos he described as America today but most people treated it with scorn.
2. In 1866 early photographers used their work as a way to inform the upper class about the lives of the poor.
3. How The Other Half Lives by Jacob Riis showed the overcrowded New York Slums.

Inspiring:
1. How LaChapelle had a crushed car in a photo to symbolize how the subject has a life like a car crash that you can't take your eyes off of.
2. The boldness of photographers to show issues in the world to people who are oblivious.

My Idea:
How our materialistic lifestyle makes us selfish and oblivious to people who need help around us.
-I can't think of a specific word to describe this.

Caitlyn Van Peenen Studio 1 3-2-1 social commentary

Social Commentary Idea :

things I have learned -

Social and political thinking was modeled by events 1848

Some of the earliest means of Photography was in order to document social ills

using social commentary though photography is a very strong way to make an important point with out having to say anything.

2 Inspirations -
My first insperations are my sisters because they are not even out of middle school and elementry school and they worry daily about how they look. their weight. and the clothes they wear.

My second inspiration comes from the media. I hate seeing magazeines that make fun of people (celebrities) for being a little over weight and not stick thin, not wearing make up, or for dressing in baggy clothes.

1 Idea that is reasearched and shot-
Child abuse

Nina Antonik - Non-traditional idea

For my non-traditional, I want to take a picture of a silhouette (like the one below) blowing fire. I want to cut out the shape of a flame and put a candle behind it, sort of like a 'burning desire' type thing. The candle will be small and controlled.

Or, I could cut out a heart with the flame behind it.
http://acidcow.com/pics/20100706/beautiful_fire_art_14.jpg

Social Commentary Project

3 Things:

Social commentary images really make a statement worldwide.

The background is really important to show your topic such as poverty on a dirty road.

Peoples facials in an image are important to depict the issue.

2 Things that Inspire me.

I want my images to show the importance of the issue I chose. Peoples equal rights inspire me.

Having peoples voice heard.

Topic: Racial discrimination.

Paige Pickerl 321 Reflection

I learned...

  1. That social commentary doesn't have to be expressed only through portraits

  2. That social commentary doesn't have to be completely serious, there can be some humor

  3. And that art with social commentary can have a huge impact on people

I am inspired by...

  1. Overcoming diseases

  2. Self acceptance

I would like to shoot a project that focuses on depression awareness. It is something that has affected the lives of loved ones and I would like to clear up misconceptions people have about it.

Allie Urban 3-2-1 Reflection Studio 1

3 things you learned:
There are unfortunutely a lot of topics to consider.
People use accronyms to exemplify things they are not actually doing.
By using juxta expose I can combine two pictures and show what someone should actually be doing when they say these three letter accronyms.

2 things are inspired by:

Acronyms are used to show how you are reacting to a text when really they are not reacting that way. Using a simple three letters to "easily communicate" is actually making it harder because you are not communicating truthfully.

Becca Zeldenrust 3-2-1 Reflection

3 things I learned
1. Lots of early photography was used as a social commentary on issues like child labor and poverty
2. Social commentary does not have to be serious. It can be satirical.
3. Thomas Annan used photography to reveal poverty to the upper class-hoping for change.
2 things I am inspired by
1. Having joy in spite of disabilities, diseases, or bad times
2. Defying conformity
1 idea I will research, pursue, and shoot for (& why I chose it)
My topic is going to be teenage girls dieting. I'm doing this because I think that girls should be happy with how they look and should not starve themselves or restrict themselves from eating a normal healthy diet to lose weight. You're only young once, so teenage girls should not be stressing out about their caloric intake.

Jackie Adamle 3-2-1 Reflection Body Image

dibs on body image ill edit this later :)

3 THINGS I LEARNED
1. Social Commentary began in the early to mid 1800s
2. Social Commentary photography promotes change... I promise I didnt know this before
3. Social Commentary was molded by events during the Revolutionists Era and thats when democracy and other things were starting to be used not just kings and queens.... thought that was interesting but it makes sense.

2 THINGS THAT INSPIRED ME
1. "Good taste is the death of art" Not necessarily inspiring for this project but for the semester overall. Because if everything fallowed "good taste" art would basically suck and everything would be the same. Which I guess kind of does go along with body image BE YOUnique. :) haha. I know its corny but so true. We shouldnt have to worry about that kind of stuff.

2. Basically all NikeWomen Ads.... I love them. such as......

I dont typically like this kind of photography (like with words on a photo) but for some reason I love these.

1 IDEA I WILL RESEARCH
1. I am going to research body image. I chose this because I think its one of the biggest problems with people all over the world. Its your body... love it. So basically self worth i guess. yeah go nike... not the the same as beccas yay us!

Social Commentary Kara L.

3 Things I learned
2 Things Inspired by
1 Idea researched/shot

I learned that some of the earliest users in photography used it to show social downfalls like poverty.
They used these pictures to promote change in the book "How the Other Half Lives".
Lewis Hine's photos tried to change child labor.

One way I am inspired is a song called "We Used to Wait" by Arcade Fire. In the song it says "We used to write letters, you used to say my name", and the entire song is about how people used to have to wait for a response, when now we all have instant gratification with technology.
Another way I am inspired is by SOPA. Seeing that almost the entire interent could be taken down, and peoples reactions to that. People were so mad thinking that the computer could be completely changed, which shows what people value.

I shot the idea that technology is getting inbetween relationships and creating people to communicate less face to face.

Jackie Adamle Studio 1 first post

WHY I TOOK PHOTO
I took photo because I enjoy photography and it's a way to express yourself it's also a nice break from the academic school day and you get to go to a class with a bunch of people who actually want to be there unlike every other class you take.... And mrs. G is pretty awesome

WHAT I WANT TO IMPROVE ON
I really want to learn more photoshop techniques and I want my photos to be more creative cause right now my photos are pretty typical..

WHY THEY NEED TO KEEP PHOTO ONE
Photo One is one of my favorite classes I have taken in high school. Without it you. Would lose the sense of surprise you get in the dark room. You would also miss where you learn all your photo terms that you need in photo 2 and studio. You also learn how to take quality photo without using photoshop because photoshop can only do so much.

Studio 1 Mary Rosenwinkel 1st Post!

I decided to take photo because I think it is one of the most creative art classes at WNHS.  It gives you a lot of room for creativity and independence.  It also requires you to get out more and look at things in different ways.

I think I will be able to do better this year in Photo by managing my time and starting projects EARLY!

Photo 1 was important and essential to take because I think every photographer should know the fundamentals before they start learning about more complicated things.

Ben Hansbreger studio 2

Hi my name is Ben, I’m 17 and it’s been about 8 hours since I took my last picture. I travel a lot, this picture was taken in Italy, and I love flannel (if you haven’t noticed) and coffee, I have a small problem with that stuff.  I’m pretty nice so feel free to ask me questions for photo.

I took photo because: Its always good to have something your good at that can be done as a job, It’s a welcome break from the doldrums of school, and it’s a great way to express yourself.

I will do better this semester because I am learning, I have made much progress with shooting and Photoshop, and I feel I have discovered my style and techniques that work for me.

http://www.pmisports.com/-this is the company i work for

In photo 1, we use film, and we like it. Film is necessary to understand the whole concept of capturing a photo, and understanding a camera. only being able to use digital would be like drawing only on one type of paper, painting on only one size and type of canvas. At WNHS we are fortunate to have a darkroom and the means to develop and print film

Studio 3 JLo Non-traditional

I'm going to use the view master and make my own transparancies to look at through the view finder.

Studio 3 JLo 1st assignment

3 reasons why you took this class.

1.To express my creativity

2.I have always been interested in Photography

3. I've had Mrs. G every semester since freshman year and I wanted to take photo my senior year.

how you will do better in this photo class than in your last
I will work harder and not complain.

Counselors/parents/newbies want to know why we are still using film in photo 1?

Using film is very essential to learning how cameras work and how pictures are made. It makes you appreciate the whole process of taking and developing photos. I really enjoyed photo one and I still plan on using film in my future projects even though I have moved up to digital photos.

Studio 3 Kelsey L. Non Traditional

For my non traditional display I would either like to do something with metal bottlecaps or take my photos and put them on a foam board and let people change where they are on a grid or make a puzzle out of one of my photos!

I took this class so I could learn more about photoshop, be more creative while taking pictures, and because I enjoy photography

While taking this class, I would like to improve on being more creative while shooting

I think that photo 1 is important because I really liked shooting with film and it helped me learn how to create contrast without using a computer. I also learned all of the photography terms from photo 1 that I now use in studio

Intro to photo studio 1

I took this class because photography is rad.

My in camera shooting could use some improvement.

The projects are more fun because there is no selective coloring.

I want to experiment more with what I can do in camera and not what I can do with photoshop.

Photo 1 still uses film because digital is so anticlimacyic. i would much rather be in the dark room than at a computer.

I'll be doing the Solace-College as a composition project.

1st Post

Hi I'm ALex Furrh and I'm in studio 1. This is just a self-portrait I took when I got my new camera.
1. I take this class because I love the art of shooting photos. I also love going everywhere with a photographer's eye. I always look at thing different and I see how they could work as a photo.

2. It is a way to express my creativity, as lame as that sounds.

3. I also take this class because it is always hard to go shoot. And if its a project or assigned "idea" it makes it easier for me to brainstorm and come up with pictures for it.

I am going to turn in all of my work ON TIME this semester and I hope I will get an A.

I think that Photo 1 should keep film. It it the outlet to photography. If you know film, it gives you so much more knowledge about photography. Shooting film is also a lot more fun, you only have 12/24 chances to get the pictures you want and it is exciting always wondering what the next picture will be. Anyone these days can pick up a digital camera and press the shutter button, but not everyone can take a picture on film. You have to know what you doing. Also learning how to develop photos and how they are created is very interesting and good to know.

Hello my name is Keely Larre Walker and I am a Studio 3! This is a picture of my photo buddy Paul and myself.

1.) I take this class because photography is my creative outlet. It's more than just taking pictures. You can do endless techniques or combine multi-media components. The possibilities and outcomes are endless when it comes to photography.

2.) I like the fact that in photography you can capture a moment and hold onto it forever. This class helps me keep track, or a sort of timeline, for my school year.

3.) I take this class because I like the atmosphere, all the students (and ms. G!) in the class work together to help all the individuals create their best work.

-Something that I can change this class rather than the last class is I can manage my time more better. I really need to take time planning out what days I will shoot for a project so I do not miss deadlines.

Paige Pickerl 1st Post

1. I took this class so I could better my photography, understand the fine workings of the camera, and relearn photoshop.

2. I will do better in this photo class then the last, because I will now begin learning the intiricate photoshop work.

Also, photo 1 with film is very important because it helps us better understand the cameras better, and also where photography began.

Studio 3 Paul Giacalone's 1st post

Hi my name is Paul Giacalone. Im a Studio 3 I took this class because I love Photography, Its a type of art that I think that I succeed in well. This class is also a way to relieve stress and just have fun.
I plan on doing better in this class by getting all assignments in on time and by not slacking like I usually do. You can also follow me on  http://giacalone12.tumblr.com/ :D so you should do that.

I think that we should still have Photo 1 because working with film helps you understand the basics of photography. Basically how a camera works and how a picture is made. After I took photo 1 I understood why some pictures were blurry or too dark or light, and I new how to fix those problems because i had taken the class on film. So photo 1 helps you understand photography way more.

My name is Caitlyn. I'm a Junior :)

three reasons I took this class are

1) I love taking pictures

2) I want to get better with Photoshop

3) I like being creative

How i will do better than last semester is i will make sure everything is turned in on time with a summary. and i won't be absent as much so i can have more class time to work.

I think that we still have photo 1 because it is important to understand the basics of a camera and basic skills used in photography. you have to have a sturdy foundation first before you move onto the more advanced stuff. I also think the Photo 1 is a great class to have still because it shows what photography was like using film and what it has come to now that we have digital cameras.

Photo studio 2 - Nina Antonik - First assignment

Brief introduction: I'm 16, I went to Monroe Middle school and my favorite subject is math. Outside of school, I love playing video games. Like every girl, I value hanging with my friends. I occasionally participate in Art Club, especially if I have a ride. I live in Wheaton with my 4 siblings and my parents. I have a lizard and 2 dogs, both of which I teach to do tricks.

Three reasons I took this class: One reason I took this class is because photography can be expressed in many more ways than you think. Your subject can be anything and we've all heard the phrase 'a picture is worth a thousand words.' Antoher reason is because photographs bring attention to things that people might overlook whether it's the beauty of a scene or bringing attention to an issue. The third reason I took this class is because there's so many different ways to take the same picture that can change someone's outlook. It shows me that I don't always have to view a situation the same way.

I will do better in this photo class than in the last because I'm still learning. There's an infinite number of things to learn in the field of photography. Not only am I completing new projects that are much different from my last class but there's also techniques to use in photoshop that I haven't even heard of yet. With each year comes new skills that each project helps me work at.

When I first heard that photo 1 was all film I was frustrated because I didn't understand why. I thought it would prove to be pointless. I was VERY wrong. Looking back now, I'm so glad that photo 1 is all film. Like every beginner, one must start at the basics. Learning to use film, you learn how specifically a picture is taken. Having the tangible photograph on a film strip is more empowering than you would think. You learn more what makes the actual photograph when you only have a certain number of images you can capture per film roll. It gives each photo more value so it's not really so much just a "guess and check" method. Your skills are sharpened. You also learn to alter the photograph itself by using filters or burning and dodging so you're not 100% set in stone.

Studio 1. Jessica Stroner. First Post

Hi I'm Jessica! I like the color yellow and playing board games (except monopoly. I hate monopoly).

I have an older sister and a younger brother and sister. I have two dogs!

My favorite subject is math!

Theatre and speech team consume my life; I do nothing else besides those two activities everyday afterschool and on the weekends. when I'm not competing or performing, I am doing homework. But it is not as bad as it seems! There is a lot of goofing off and having a good time during rehersals or tournaments, and I love it :)

Reasons I Took This Class:

1. I think these photo classes are a great way to open me up to my surroundings and help me appreciate the world :)
2. Photo classes are fun!!!!
3. These classes helo me express my creative side!

I will do better in this class, because I will try not to procrastinate or waste time.

Also, Photo 1 is a great class because it really helps people understand what picture taking used to be like. It shows you how a camera works! Although digital cameras are not as much manual labor to take a picture, they still have modes where you deal with F-stops and shutter speeds that can make your pictures look great, if you know how to use them--which you will if you take photo 1!! The time in the dark room is really cool too :)

Studio3 Abi Caskey 1st Post

I love this class so much and I get so much out of it that I knew I wanted to take it again. Even though it can be stressful sometimes and can be lots of work, I love it!

There are LOTS of reasons I take photography; here are 3. Reason #1 is that this class is one of my creative outlets and I truely love this class. Reason#2 is that I'm excited to see what new things I will learn this semester; I always learn so much. Reason#3 is that photography is one of my passions and I want to continue to be involved in the progam as long as possible!

I will do better in this class because I will turn ALL assignments and proof sheets in ON TIME! I am determined to not procrastinate this semester and work really hard to get it all in on time!

Counselors/parents/newbies want to know why we are still using film in photo 1?
I loved taking photo 1 because of the dark room. Not only do you learn SO much about how a camera works with the manual cameras, but you also learn how difficult it is to use the original techniques used before digital and computers. I also love using the dark room because it seems SO much more like creating art when you are able to create tangible things, as opposed to on a computer screen and sending it to a printer. The fact that I was the one controling not only the picture I took but how it looked in the end when I made prints right from the film. Using film teaches you SO much that they would loose if they started right off with the digital.

Reasons I take Photo
1) I'm interested in photography because it allows me to express myself in a fun way.

2) I've always wanted to learn the concepts and components of taking a great picture.

3) I'll learn more techniques in studio 1 such as on photoshop.

I believe photo 1 is important because you learn the components of a camera. Using film gives the students an idea of the work it takes to develop images.

Studio 4 Megan Jones Introduction Post

Counselors/parents/newbies want to know why we are still using film in photo 1?: To keep film photography alive, and to get a basic knowledge of cameras because digital cameras are really automatic. To gain a new exposure to different types of photography a student might be interested in.

Studio 1 Kara Lawrence First Post

Three reasons I took this class.

1. To further my knowledge in photography.

2. To learn more editing skills on photoshop.

3. Because I enjoy photo and like working with other people and seeing their work also.

This semester I want to take more pictures, and take pictures of things that are outside of my style.

I have a really cute haircut.

Photo 1 was my favorite photo class. Working with film helped us all to learn more about the camera itself, and the composition of photo's without being able to digitaly edit them.

1. I enjoy taking photographs

2. I wanted to improve my photoshop skills

3. I wanted to take a class where I can be really creative

I will do better in Photo Studio than I did in Photo 2 because now I have more experience and I will not procrastinate.

Counselors/parents/newbies want to know why we are still using film in photo 1?
Photo 1 helped me really understand how cameras work. Using film helped me get a basic knowledge of photography and how to work with exposure and lighting.

2. I'd like to learn new techniques that I could teach my dad.

3. I enjoy editing photos using photoshop.

How I Will Do Better in this Photo Class

1. I'll try to focus and listen more.

2. I will look up interesting tutorials online to use.

3. I'll make sure everything is turned in on time.

Counselors/parents/newbies want to know why we are still using film in photo 1?

Using film is an awesome experience because one truly understands how aperature and shutter speed works when you control it by yourself, without the option of Auto everything. Also, I feel like it's important for a new photography student to have the experience in the dark room and actually developing your own photo.

Counselors/parents/newbies want to know why we are still using film in photo 1?
We are using film in photo 1 because it can show you how a camera works and by taking a step back from digital it better explains how the camera functions and how photos really have improved over the years.

Studio 1 Allie Urban 1st post

Hi, Allie Urban and I am a senior this year. I took this class because I enjoy photography and want to continue to learn more techniques. When I go to college in the fall I am going to be studying art and taking photo classes there so the more experience I get now, the better. I will do better in this photo class becasue being in a class with higher studio kids will inspire me to be more creative with my pictures. My favorite photographer is Robb Davidson. I know Mrs. G doesn't like pictures of couples but these wedding pictures are really artsy and capture the moment. http://robb-davidson.com/?p=2825
