Portraits

In this project, Hunter and I got super artsy. We used my off camera strobe to create different types of lighting outside. In No. 4 I put the flash on one side of him and the sunlight was shining on the other so it created split lighting. On most of my pictures I made them black & white and boosted the contrast. It was fun shooting with strobes and to learn different shutters and apertures for portraits, because I usually shoot action.

  1. I really like these. They're artistic but not in that try-hard way.

  2. Alex, please label posts correctly. These pictures are very interesting since they were not shot in the traditional studio. Kudos to you and Brown Hunter. However, I need you to label these...split, loop, rembrandt, butterfly.
